I think I have to take really good care of my hair and above all I must have much patience.

Yesterday I asked my hairdresser for his suggestions. 

. He told me to treat my hair carefully, avoiding any unnecessary brushing and combing.  Instead of using a brush, it is better to use a wide-tooth comb, which doesn’t cause as much breakage. 

. I have to avoid use of hot water, so I have to rinse my hair using cold water.

.  A scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles is very important.

. I have to do a series of hot oil treatments to protect my hair.

. Regular trims to eliminate split ends are important. That allows my hair to look and feel healthier.

. I have to use conditioner. When I apply it I have to take care in making sure ends are covered.

. I have to use a shampoo formulated for babies, because it is gentle.

. I do not have to over-dye my hair.

. When I go to the swimming pool I have to wear a swim cap. This is important to prevent the chlorine from      saturating my hair.

. I have to protect my hair from over-exposure to the sun, and salt of the sea, wind and air pollution, so I have to wear a hat, or a cap.

My hairdresser sounds like a very wise person, but he is sooo expensive! That’s why I do not go often to his salon.

Also I  recently read that it is important to eliminate or cut back on smoking and caffeine because these two items can weaken our body and consequently can block maximum hair growing potential. So I have to avoid foods that are fat and are high in sugar. I have to eat a healthy diet
, I have to drink lots of water. It is important to keep stress levels down.
